COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
We operate
over 30 housing units throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan
area. We pride ourselves on supporting individuals in their
home environments which promote good health and hygiene,
safety, individualized choices and atmosphere of pride.
Our
well-trained and caring staff work closely with the
individuals, family members, resource coordinators and other
professionals to identify the specific wants, needs, and
desires of each individual in our program. We utilize a team
approach in identifying the needs, securing resources, and
monitoring outcomes.
A variety of supportive services are offered to ensure
successful community living in both our Adult Services and
Youth Services Residential Programs. We work hard to help
each individual be an active and responsible community
member. Participation in recreational events and
participation in community resources is key to successful
community living. Individuals receive training in areas such
as personal self-care, domestic skills, food preparation and
shopping, and money management are important components of
the Community Residential Services Support. Our staff
receive agency-required trainings that are developed
specifically for the individuals they are working with in
addition to State of Maryland required trainings.

FAMILY & INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SERVICES
Our Family
& Individual Supports (FISS) Program has been providing
services to
individuals with disabilities since 1998. The program offers
two levels of support to individuals with disabilities.
The short term, "rolling access" program provides support to
individuals with disabilities eligible for DDA services but
have not been through the DDA application process. Under the
low cost program, individuals with disabilities can access a
myriad of services to include funds for respite, therapies,
adaptive equipment, summer camps, home modifications, and
referral, case management, etc.
Creative Options, Inc. is supporting over 210 individuals
with disabilities through the low cost program. The areas
served in the program are Baltimore City, Baltimore County
and Harford County.
The "long term" support program provides funding for in home
support to over 30 individuals with disabilities residing in
Baltimore City and Baltimore County. The program provides
in-home support through a network of home health agencies
and nursing referral agencies. The FISS program works
extensively with individuals with physical disabilities. The
program offers skilled case management services to assist in
coordinating support for the individual in their home. The
program has assisted individuals with modifying their homes
to improve access and to maintain their level of
independence.
